Resource 2 - Evaluation plan template

This template has been prepared to assist you plan the evaluation of your Building Safer Communities Program project. It is based on the Evaluation Guide on our website and allows you to record information about your evaluation. This will assist you to manage the evaluation but is also a way for you to document key decisions made as part of the evaluation process.

You should prepare this plan as early in the project as possible and include as much information as you think will help you to conduct the evaluation. There are two parts—the evaluation plan, which defines the scope and broad approach to evaluation, and an evaluation framework, which forms the basis of the evaluation and helps guide the collection and reporting of data.
